It is a great pleasure and honour to extend to you a warm invitation to attend the 9th International Mesostructured Materials Symposium (IMMS-9) to be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC), Australia, from the 17th to the 20th of August 2015.
Building on the success of previous IMMS meetings, the IMMS-9 aims to foster discussion on developments in the synthesis and characterization of mesostructured materials for a wide range of applications, such as energy storage and conversion, biological technology, catalytic and environmental applications, and gas separation and purification.
Delegates from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds will have an opportunity to discuss new scientific findings, share knowledge, and advance this important area. The symposium will be a wonderful forum to underpin discussions, collaborations and networks.
The IMMS-9 will begin on the afternoon of the 17th, followed by a three day scientific program. The symposium will feature plenary and keynote lectures, invited and oral talks, and poster presentations. Five best posters and a couple of best poser runner ups will be awarded with both a certificate and a cash prize or book voucher. Full papers submitted to the symposium will be published in two scientific journals – Microporous and Mesoporous Materials and Scientific Reports, subjected to peer review.
We hope you will join us in Brisbane, the beautiful capital of the state of Queensland, Australia. The symposium venue, Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre BCEC, is located at South Bank Parklands – a unique precinct with a focus on the arts, culture and entertainment; a riverside city oasis with an inner-city beach, gardens and rainforest. BCEC is about a ten-minute walk from the Brisbane CBD.
We look forward to welcoming you to an inspiring, educational and enjoyable program in Brisbane, Australia
With warm regards,
The Organizing Committee
